Art delivery to NYC

I just came back from a long road trip to New York City to drop off my drawings to Arcadia Contemporary in Soho. I got lost on the road a couple of times and spent almost an hour right outside Holland tunnel in order to drive through it. But finally! I made it to the gallery and handed over 3 drawings. Unfortunately I got there really late and didn't have a chance to see the inside. Well, I will do that next time when I am there in September. My 3 drawings will be in "Five And Under" show from 8/14 to 9/11.

And here is a little collage of details of the 3 drawings I will be showing in the Gallery. The one at the top: "Vanitas 24" has never been seen in public before, so I am really excited to be able to do that. The show being in NYC is icing on the cake!

Well, it's official now. The gallery announced it on social media. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and the kind of exposure I get from showing at a prestigious gallery like Arcadia.

934 Gallery

Here is Johnny Riddle Executive Director of 934 Gallery with my Vanitas drawings from my last show behind him. I had an enjoyable experience working with him and the gallery. I wish them the best for the new year.

Inside & Out: Vanitas show

I am going to be a part of a group show by Ohio Art League called, "Inside & Out: Vanitas" at Griffin Gallery, Gahanna, OH. When they announced this juried show, I thought it was just perfect to show my Vanitas pieces. So I entered and got 2 pieces accepted. Below are those pieces and the DM they designed using an image of one of my pieces.

Franklinton Friday show

David Gentilini from Capital University Schumacher Gallery emailed me a few days ago about this solo exhibition opportunity at the Franklin Arts District Gallery. It was a short notice but I jumped right on it. Who would say NO to a chance to show your work!? The opening day was brutally cold and snowing a little, so we saw very few people come in, but hey I am happy it is up! This show runs through the beginning of January next year.

"Presence" show

I participated in a group show called "Presence: Dialogue with the Human Form" in the Schumacher Gallery at Capital University, Bexley, OH from September 20th to October 18th 2013. This was a very interesting show. I really enjoyed viewing a variety of mediums, concepts, and unusaul interpretations based on this age-old subject-matter. I took some photos of the exhibit and made panoramas.
