The Mystery of Human Body

Last week I had a chance to show 3 of my drawings in a group show The Mystery of Human Body at the Artglorieux Gallery in GINZASIX, Tokyo. This was the second time showing those 3 pieces in the same gallery, but this time one of them "Azured Memory" was sold thanks to the hard work of Gallery Sumire. I wish I could have seen the show in person. If I have another chance to show my work like this in Japan, I will do my best to make it there for the opening.

The Stars ~ シリウスの煌めき

I am showing 3 drawings in an upcoming show in Ginza district, Tokyo. The show is titled "The Stars - シリウスの煌めき" and it is a group show curated by Gallery Sumire and takes place at ArtGloriex Gallery in GINZA SIX building. It is my first chance in a long long time to show my art in Japan, so I am really excited about it. On top of that, judging from the names of the artists included in this group show, it is going to be a very interesting high quality exhibit.

Virtual My Studio Show at Sharon Weiss Gallery

A few days after the opening of Bryn Du Show, I was invited to be a part of a group show at Sharon Weiss Gallery. Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, the show had to be turned into an online only exhibit. The theme was artists' free interpretation of their work space/studio. I had a few different ideas, but none of them was exciting enough to turn into a piece. So I decided to take a simple approach and depict an object in my work space at home: a dog skull. This is the link to the gallery. And here are a couple of screen captures from the Youtube video the Gallery produced.
