Paper Monsters & Curious Creatures free online projects

My publisher Lark Crafts posted a few more free online projects for my upcoming book Paper Monsters and Curious Creatures. They are the accessories to go with the projects in the book as well as the ones they could not find room for in my book. Their templates and instructions are downloadable from their web site. The book will be out on August 5th. But nothing's wrong with starting your Halloween a bit earlier! Here is the link.

Paper Monsters & Curious Creatures progress update

I just found the cover image of my book "Paper Monsters & Curious Creatures" online. The designer at Lark Books Kristi Pfeffer did a great job coming up with this design. I think it really communicates the kind of fun my readers will have working on these projects. The release date of this book is August 5th this year. There will be plenty of time for my readers to make these monsters and get ready for Halloween!

My next new book "Paper Monsters and Curious Creatures" is moving along. Today I received the first laser print out. I am going to go through this page by page for the next few days and make necessary corrections. This book will come out some time in the fall of 2014. Paper Monsters photo shoot

I just got back from a photo shoot at Lark Books in Asheville, North Carolina. It was for my upcoming paper craft book, "Paper Monsters and Curious Creatures (working title)." I worked on this book during my sabbatical this past spring along with "Paper Birds" book. I designed total 40 projects and it looks like this book will contain approximately 30 of them. The rest will go online as free bonus stuff. Below are a few snapshots I took during the photo session. Just like for my previous books, I worked as a project stylist during the photo shoot. My book designer is Kristi Pfeffer and photographer is Steve Mann. The photo shoot took place in Steve's studio.
