Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 03:07PM This is a snapshot of a new drawing "Vanitas 3" I started a few weeks ago. I haven't been able to find time to work more on this, so this has been in this underdrawing stage for a while. This is going to be the first 1/2 of a dyptich piece.
Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 07:59PM Martha Stewart Living published an article on my latest paper craft book "Paper Monsters & Curious Creatures" along with my interview on their blog. They also posted 2 free downloadable templates of Ghost and Dracula and their instructions. I am glad the article made it up on the blog just in time for Halloween!
Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 11:36PM Working on the black fabric. I am using this masking fluid and it's a great product. It dries fast, it is easy to peel off and doesn't damage the surface. It lifts off the graphite a little but that's not a big deal. I can touch it up fairly easily. This masking fluid along with painter's tape allows me to create really clean edges. A couple of more days of working on the background, then this piece will be finished.

The other day Aimee Hancock from an online magazine Columbus Underground interviewed me about my latest paper craft book, "Paper Monsters & Curious Creatures". She posted the article on August 5th. The discussion during the interview went over various topics beyond my book. She covered my background and my other artistic activities as well. It was a good interview. Thanks Aimee!
Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 10:39PM One of my pieces is going to be included in an upcoming group show "Alternative Processes" at The Center for Fine Art Photography Fort Collins, Colorado. It is a salt print I made with chicken blood. The juror was the author of "Alternative photographic processes" Christopher James. The art works included in this exhibit look very impressive. I am honored to be a part of this fantastic show. The show will run from October 3 to November 1, 2014.
