Acrylic on panel, 24" x 24", 2020.

I participated in Virtual Scrawl 2020: a fundraising event to aid local artists who have experienced a negative financial impact due to the pandemic. This was done in acrylic. I painted in my backyard in the summer heat. I knew this very well going in but, boy the acrylic paint dried so fast! I had a hard time keeping up with the speed. And of course, the sun light is such an unstable light source, judging colors with my eyes was so difficult. Anyway, I somehow finished it. Phew! My beer tasted so good afterwards though.
