Bryn Du Art Show

Last night I attended the opening reception of an annual juried show at Bryn Du Art Center, Granville, OH. It was held in this beautiful Mansion from the Arts and Crafts period architecture style. I had 3 Vanitas pieces accepted into this show. One of them "Vanitas 16" won The Best in Show, and "Vanitas 22" was sold too. Not a bad way to start spring!

MANIFEST DRAWN advertisement

I have been seeing this call for entry advertisement for DRAWN show at MANIFEST Creative Research and Drawing Center. They are using the image of my Vanitas 16 with it, which was included in last year's DRAWN show. I was thinking about not entering this year just because most of my good drawings are currently in a show or going to be in another show soon. But seeing this ad a few times, made me change my mind. I will see what I can find to submit this year...

Ohio Arts Council Riffe Gallery Show People's Choice Award

I just received a facebook feed that said my piece" Vanitas 16" at the Ohio Art Council's biennial show won a People's Choice Award! I have never won People's Choice Award, so this is exciting!

Vanitas Book on Blurb

I updated the book of my Vanitas series by adding the new pieces from my recent show at 934 Gallery to the collection and made it available to public through Blurb site.
