Graphite on Bristol board, 15.5" x 11.5", 2017.

Quintessential vanitas visual motifs, almost to the point where people might see this as a cliche. Perhaps it is. But I feel the strength of this piece does not lie in the choice of the subjects.

With this piece along with my graphite-watercolor drawing "Bronzini", I won the first place in the Manifest Gallery's publication: International Drawing Annual 13, 2019.
